Yeah Levi!

We have had so much fun watching the joy on Levi's face as he sets off on his own. Yes, he is walking! He puts his little arms in the air, smiles from ear to ear, and off he goes! Way to go buddy!

Yesterday we were at the library and there was a little girl there who had been walking for three days. The two of them were so cute with their little arms raised in the air motoring all over the place! I needed a video camera...precious!

Home sweet home

The kids and I have been having a fun time in our yard since coming home. This is one of the things I missed the most while away. The flower pots are all full again and the garden is planted.

Caitlyn was glad to get home to all her "dollies" and seeing her friends here again. She is still talking about all her friends she now misses seeing in Greece and Mongolia.

Levi is not walking on his own yet but gets where he needs to go! He is sure an explorer and one we need to keep a close watch on!!

Phil has been keeping busy trying to get caught up on reciepts...too many to translate!
He has been on standby for a team heading into Myanmar but as we all know the government has still not opened the country to foreign aid. It is heartbreaking and we are praying for a miracle for these people.

Next week then kids and I are heading down to Oregon for a week at the beach with my Aunt. Stay tuned for pictures of that!

China...and almost home!

After our time in Mongolia we headed to Beijing, China, where Olympic preparations are in full swing. We spent three nights with Jeremy & Renee Bergevin and their four precious girls. Caitlyn of course had a blast with them! Since we did not have many days there we had to make it to the Great Wall of China...amazing place where we all got a good work out climbing the stairs!

We contemplated changing our plane tickets to stay a few more days and get more touring in...actually I wanted to do a bit more shopping, but after our last night I was ready to head home. Cailtyn and I both had a curry dish for dinner and unfortunatley ended up seeing it two, three, and four times if you know what I mean! I was so weak and exhausted nothing was going to stop me from getting on that plane to head home. I had had enough and was longing for my own bed!

The Lord was very faithful and good to us. The trip went smooth and we were able to get rest on the flight. Caitlyn slept almost the whole nine hour flight to Vancouver,BC. We made it home by 5:30pm, all were in bed by 8pm, and got a wonderful nights sleep. Thank you Lord!
